Stage Management Intern, Actor’s Express     

August 2015-Present

 

​Currently thriving in the rigorous Actor’s Express program working with 11 other interns and many artistic professionals in Atlanta during rehearsals, performances, and theater classes.

• House Managed Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Duties involved setting up bar, assisting 150 patrons per show, cleaning theatre house, and directing ushers for over 20 performances. 

• Stage Managed Obsession for Actor’s Express’ first annual Threshold Festival. 

• ASMed The Thrush and the Woodpecker, while simultaneously stage managing the intern performance of the show. Duties involved attending all rehearsals, taking blocking, running lines, running sound board, and help the change over process during rep. 

• Worked on build crew to create the set for Stupid F*cking Bird. Duties involed laying down flooring, building set pieces, hanging curtains, and hanging lights over a three week rehearsal process. 

 

 

Community Engagement Intern, Fox Theatre            

​April 2015-June 2015

 

Assisted the Community Engagement Manager, Community Engagement Coordinator, and Social Media Manager in day-to-day office activities. Focused primarily on organizing and tracking all Fox Theatre Institute grant reports and preparing for The Fox Theatre Block Party, an event that catered to 20,000 people.

• Created three infographics to easily communicate successful marketing strategies and community outreach programs over the last three fiscal years for the Fox Theatre Institute

• Tracked and organized grant requests and reports in Microsoft Excel

• Created informative and visually pleasing trivia and sponsorship PowerPoints for the 20,000 patrons attending The Fox Theatre Block Party

 

 

Production Management Intern, Fox Theatre   

​December 2014-April 2015

 

​Assisted the Production Manager and Assistant Production manager with daily activities.

• Collected data on over 50 theaters for various research projects and worked extensively with Microsoft Excel to present my findings on sound equipment, research conferences, and union contracts.

• Created easy to read infographics for Production Department and Fox Stagehands.

 

Arts Administration Intern, The Atlanta Opera   

​May 2013-July 2013

 

​Selected for the very competitive Ethics and Servant Leadership Program at Emory University, requiring 240 hours of service at The Atlanta Opera and included classroom instruction focused on basic leadership and ethical skills.

• Collected data and worked extensively with Microsoft Excel to create 6 accessible documents about inventory, the High School Opera Institute, community performance statistics, and possible venues for touring productions.
